I am a licensed board certified Psychiatrist. I completed my residency training at Loyola Stritch University School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois in 1975 and was board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology in 1976. I began private practice in St. Charles, IL in June of 1975 and practiced at that location until October 2003 at which time I relocated to the Seattle area to be with my children and grandchildren. In Illinois I had been on the senior attending staffs of Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois and of Provena Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Illinois. I was the clinical director of Behavioral Health Services at Central DuPage Hospital (responsible for an 18 bed inpatient unit, the inpatient/outpatient chemical dependency program and their partial day hospital program) from August of 1998 through October 2003. During that same time frame I also was the clinical advisor to the DBSA (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance) of DuPage County. I served on the staff at Overlake Hospital Medical Center from November 2003 until October 2010. I served as the psychiatric consultant to the Partial Day Hospital program at Overlake Hospital from December 2004 through October 2010. I remain on the consulting staff at Overlake Hospital and Medical Center.  I am licensed in the state of Washington.

Appointments may be made by leaving a message at 425-381-1338. Someone will return your call within 24 hours Monday through Friday to schedule an appointment. Should it be necessary to cancel an appointment, please contact the office at 425-381-1338 at least 24 hours in advance of that appointment so arrangements can be made for another client to utilize that time slot. At this time appointments are available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM each day. These times will likely be expanded to include Wednesdays in the near future. Late cancellation or failure to keep an appointment will be billed for the full fee. Prescriptions: Requests for prescription refills will be taken Monday through Friday. Please have your pharmacy fax your requests to 425-482-1080. Please be aware of the amount of medication you have available so that you don’t run out over the weekends or holidays. .

In case of immediate emergency contact 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You may call 425-381-1338 and leave a voice message, and I will get back to you the same day. Weekend call will rotate among a group of private psychiatrists from 5:00 PM Friday until 8:00AM Monday mornings. Prescriptions on weekends will only be filled by covering physicians for 3 days at a time. Please be aware of your current medication supply so that you have prescriptions filled in a timely manner during the regular work week.

Requests for prescription refills will be taken between 8:00 am Monday and 5:00 pm Friday. Please be aware of the amount of medication you have on hand so that you don’t run out over the weekend or a holiday.

All patient records are strictly confidential in compliance with HIPAA and may only be released with written permission for the patient or legal guardian in the case of minors or upon appropriate court order in rare circumstances.
